We were definitely feeling cocky going into the late IC. We knew regardless we were going in up on Astrum and chances were pretty good we'd get the last IC as well. I was out of town for the IC but still had access to a computer so I could do it. I knew I had picked a good name for the All-Star merge member but since I had access to a crappy computer I couldn't make really good logos. I was hoping it would be enough to look like I was trying so I could make the merge just in case we lost. I actually was hoping I wouldn't win the IC for my tribe. Its just going to hurt me. I will probably attract some or all of the Astrum votes if I don't win IC 7 and my tribe will look at me a more of threat once Astrum is gone. My alliances aren't strong and with this group I actually might be better off that way. I'm not sure I can win this game but I think I have a fair shot at the final 4 which is good enough for me. I still think Matt and Joe are real tight but I can't prove it just a hunch. Taylor is a no show lately so I can't count on her but I think I've got enough in common with Joey to get him on my side. Lloyd is still my choice to go first once Astrum is gone. Right now I'm looking to take Andy or Joe into the final 2 with me. Andy will probably get on enough peoples nerves that I could take him and Joe is still rather dry so I think I could take him as well. Alexander Kirk Helton Contrary to popular belief....... Another victory for Ualeo. We returned to camp know it would be our last night there. So we went to bed early so we could get a head start on our packing. We woke up early and started packing. Joe started cooking the remainder of the rice. We ate some for breakfast and some for lunch and awaited our treemail. We received a map our our new camp location and headed there. We arrived first, so we took the liberty to pick the spot where we would sleep. So after setting up camp, Astrum arrived. We greated them, but detected tension amoung them. I knew we had the upper hand and the 3 Astrum wouldn't last long. The next couple days, we spent a lot of time trying to get to know each other. I found that they didnt have much to talk about. As a team, Ualeo voted amongst ourselves on who we were going to eliminate first. With a vote of 5-2, we decided Deuce would go first, or Erik, should Deuce win immunity. The day of the first personal Immunity challenge came. We all lined up and did the challenge. Joseph came first, assuring Deuce would leave. We went home and awaited for tribal counsel. It came the following evening. We took the long hike up to TC, we let Astrum lead the way, since they been there so many times. At TC I voted Deuce and awaited for everyone to vote and for the final results. Lloyd Can someone please tell me how a 22 year-old smoker who works at the MALL took second place in that immunity challenge?! Damn, where do I go to cash myself in?! I think we can all learn from this IC - ANYONE who was underneath me should really re-evaluate their life. Take up smoking, quit your decent jobs and go work as a manager at the mall, PLUS go to school part time, because only THEN will you know your true self worth! LOL! Later, Taylor I vote for Deuce. Thanks for letting us all know about deuces uncle, I had never talked to him before but I still sent him an email letting him know that I will include he and his family in my list of people I've been praying for. I know we haven't talked about the game in a while, and I also know that Lex approached you with the same proposal he approached me with - that the 3 of us allign and go to the end together. He said you were a little skeptical about the whole thing so I just wanted to talk to you about it. When Lex mentioned that he wasn't that close with Matt or Joe, I told him I felt the same way. He then asked how I felt about the original alliance formed at the beginning of the game (the five of us - remember that?). He asked me how I still felt about that alliance because no ones really been talking about it. That's when I told him that I really only talk to the two of you (lex and you) and he said he kinda talks to everyone but he gets along best with and trusts you and I the most. So he said he had been thinking that the three of us join together for some time now, and wanted to know what I thought. I said it sounds good to me because I'm up for anything. I've made it pretty clear to everyone that I'm just enjoying the ride until it's my time to get off. I don't have much time to devote to immunity challenges, but I will make time to get to tribal councils, other then that I try and stay in touch with everyone and just have fun. So if the two of you would like me to allign with you then I'm more then willing to stay in this game for awhile longer. The good thing for both of you is that you know I'm not a threat as far as challenges go. Also I told Lex that if we do decide to do this then After we get down to the three of us I'll happily step down so that the 2 of you are in the final 2 together. A Race across the world, and people trying to survive in the virtual frontier made for a unique challenge as each tribe member tried to guess which couples were going to be in first place, and which couples were going to be eliminated In the end, none of the E-Survivors picked the right people, but because of a "Safety" Stash of points they each tied with 50 a piece. But ultimately Andy won because he sent in his guesses fist. Extinction Being the Last Member of Astrum, Shay was voted out in a clean sweep of 8 votes, she didn't even bother voting for herself. But the past will haunt the final two, for she is now awaiting that jury vote, and she will give it to the one most deserving! Alexander Kirk Helton So I just came on-line to see if the results were in and was greeted with a lovely off-line message from Andy. He basically told me I disgust him and then proceeded to call me a fucking bitch...etc. It was very pleasant. I think it's safe to assume he's not taking the news to well. What sucks though is he thinks I orchestrated this whole thing. Like I went behind his back and convinced Joey and Lex to vote for him! He has no idea that Lex approached ME about the whole thing, I voted and then went to work, it wasn't till I came home that I found out that Joey had voted with us. I mean, I was just as surprised as Andy was, I thought for sure the vote would end in a tie! The question I now have been asking myself is - "Was it worth it?" and I'm still not sure about my answer to that. In a way it wasn't worth it because I never wanted to hurt Andy's feelings. Lloyd with his final words... a little agressive, but I understand. But it can't be labeled cheating if it can be done in the game... and it was done. There was a lot more "coming together" than everyone thinks at some of these challenges. Even during the prices challenge... Lloyd found (at the time) a much cheaper compound bow than what I was finding. He asked me "Do you want to win immunity?" and I said yeah, I do... so he offered to give me the link to his cheaper compound bow if immunity would have made me feel better. I declined, because I was having fun doing the challenge by myself, and winning at it. At this stage, it's more competitive... had Lloyd won that immunity I would have been out. Had Lex beat me at Chinese Checkers yesterday, I'd have been G-O-N-E. Like i said when I voted out Joe... I did what I had to do to stay alive. Being Mr. Spock, and looking for logic-ness in this or that will get you booted like they did with Lloyd. Joey - from what I know at least, has played the game pretty much by himself. We brought Joey on board to help us vote off Joe, otherwise he probably would have stayed by himself, which is hard to do in this game and therefore very respectable. I like Joey a lot. He, Andy and Lex are all cool guys and I'm glad I got to play this game with them. Joey is funny as hell, and honest. That's why he deserves to be in the final 2 and possibly win this game. Lex - Ok Lex was the one to get me to reconsider the game and decide to stay in it and play rather then just give up and quit. He was the one who knew that Joe and Matt didn't have to have their way and when I agreed with him we started our own little alliance. We shook things up all the way up until Andy. Lex is a GREAT guy. The one thing that kind of upsets me though is that he didn't participate in the final immunity challenge, I mean...can you say "Richard Hatch". That kind of upset me because he KNEW that Joey and I were both going to take him so no matter who won he was safe. He just sat back and let us face off, I feel that by doing that he took the easy way out - BIG TIME! However who's to say I wouldn't have done the same damn thing. Lex is a smart guy, he's had control over this game since the merge if you ask me, all I can say is I'm glad I was on his side!! But i think he ended up blocking me because in the middle of our conversation, without saying goodbye he went offline. He said he's had it with alliances and is on his own for the rest of the game - I SAID - "I bet you'd be thinking a little differently if Joe was still in the game, you kind of have no choice but to think the way you do now." LMAO - I know I know, I'm bad, but oh well. He was talking to me like nothing had been going on with he and Joe and like he was NEVER planning to vote me off - whatever! He thinks that all five of us are in an alliance, and I told him that's not true, which isn't a lie. God it went on and on forever...This is the most I've talked to him EVER in this game, think that's a coincidence? I doubt it! We kept an informal alliance going. It was Andy who asked Joe about the alliance, and he and I complied. I was friends with Joe. We do what we can to stay in the game which most of the time eliminating the strong, whereas the Amazing race, the weakest gets knocked out. Well to become stronger, alliances are made. I dont think a game can be played without them. We discuss things and ask who other people are going to vote for and we vote with them to stay in the game or we tell people to vote with us so we can have an upper hand. The way this game is played will not change. If you want a game without alliances, try the Mole. So let's continue this game without complaints. I cant believe it....out of 16 people, the best 5 are still here and i am glad that the four of you are the part of it. This tribe has been the best tribe out of all the e-survivors with no doubt. I'm in the final four, which as you know I NEVER thought was going to happen and I'm sitting here with 3 awesome guys. Our original plan was to eliminate Joey this round, but then he won immunity. I said in a chat with Lex and Andy that if he wins I'd go next, only because I knew the game meant more to them then me. however Lex told me to "just say the word" and he'd vote against Andy. I felt bad putting him in that situation so I told him I'd think about it and let him know what my decision was. SO, In my chat with Lex today I asked him what HE wasnted to do, I said "forget about what I want, what do YOU want?" He said he wanted to eliminate Andy. So after we went back and forth about it we both decided to take the chance, shake things up, and see what happens. I feel REALLY bad about voting for Andy though. It really sucks! It's like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place and either way I'd be voting for someone I like a lot. The one thing that's makes this a little easier for me is that I KNOW Andy is voting for me. You see, early on in the game Andy and I promised to never cast a vote against eachother, we didn't allign, we just made that promise. Yet when Joey won immunity he never mentioned that promise or came to me with an alternative to kicking me out, and he has basically said he's voting for me. So that fact that he's ok with breaking that promise makes me less upset about it. So here's what we know: We know that Andy is voting for me, we know that Lex and I are voting for Andy, we also know that I'll lose to Andy in a tie...SO Joey is going to be the swing vote.
