I got AIm straightened out. Guys you ought to leave the host name on this when you email us about the games as it will get you and Batrobik Rats points. As for the challenges usually he send us a task to do. and if its a speed challenge the quicker we get it done the better chance we have of winning. Or it may be a regular challenge. Challenges can be anything from trivia quizzes, or design a web page for your tribe. I have seen posting challenges where you see what tribe can post the most pictures or post the most messages to each other. Other challenges might be to play a game at Yahoo games. They really vary. I have MSN messenger. I don't use it but I can for this game if necessary. Looks like it works as well as AIM. Hey everyone in the Batrobik Tribe (and Sam)!
I hope everyone New Years' Eve was wonderful, and everyone is enjoying 2003! I'm excited about the challenge tomorrow, but I was reading Josie's E-mail and realized that I don't know how to make a website and other "technology advanced" stuff like that. Is there anyone that would be able to help me if we had a challenge like that? Or will Sam give us instructions? (I've never played E-Survivor before!) Should we all get to know each other some more? We could all pick something to ask about everyone or something - maybe our knowledge will come in handy in a challenge later on! Happy New Year!

Usually at least one person in the tribe knows at least how to use geocities.com. The others usually get the information, bios, pictures etc together that go on the website. I have never played in E Survivor so I don't know what he has planned for challenges. I sure the 6 of us should be able to handle it! Hmm wonder if there is a switching of players in tribes in this game?

    Geez, I really hope they don't switch anyone out of our Batrobik Tribe. I'm still a little confused at how everything works. What time does the challenge usually start and where are we supposed to meet during the challenge? Well, hope to kick the other tribes ass 2morrow! The host has not told us what time. Sometimes its a surprise. Also I will have my MSN and AIM messenger going so If I see it I will check to see if anyone else is on so we can work on it. I will be home tomorrow I am pretty sure. Sometimes a chat room is good or we can work on it by messenger. Usually there is a Yahoo group for each team.

Challenge 1
The 1st challenge is just over & it's a really close one! But what matters most is that we won! I must say that it's been really fun. I felt as if I was really stranded on a virtual island! I'm slowly trying to get to know each individual in my tribe better. Hopefully as the days go by, I'll be able to do that. Everybody seems to be helpful and friendly....hmmm....wonder if that's everyone's strategy for the beginning . Anyway, on a different note altogether, we still haven't heard from Jill. I wonder what's keeping her. 
Back to the 1st challenge. Well, I must say I wrote Santiago, Chile as my answer because that's what came into my mind straightaway. This is because of the 1987 Miss Universe which Miss Chile won, was held in my country, Singapore in that year. Geez....that really helped and perhaps my memory play a part too...hehhehee.

I'm now waiting anxiously for the next challenge. Guess I lose out a little on the time difference but hopefully will still be able to make it before the deadline. I'm sure everyone else is excited too. I must say I'm pretty lucky to get into this tribe. Good job so far. Hopefully we'll keep up the good work!

I'm glad that our tribe won the first Immunity challenge - it's a good way to start off the game. Unfortunately, I screwed it up, but I'm glad it came through. What happened was that I had my mailbox open, still with some unread mail as I was responding to the Immunity challenge. I sent it and then realized that there was new mail, including Richard's response to the challenge. Hopefully, I will more than make up for my mistake later in the game. I apologize again to my tribe, but I'm glad that we were able to start over and still win. 
If other people in the Batrobik tribe have strategies, I'm completely oblivious to them. For now I'm just playing the game and doing whatever I can to help the tribe win Immunity. I just wish we would hear from Jill - I hope everything's okay. 
I'm ready for the next challenge - I hope it's nothing too difficult, but hopefully Batrobik can help each other if it's really hard. 
We're doing great Batrobik! We've won the first Immunity challenge - let's keep the streak going!

         This first days have been WONDERFUL!!!, we all had oportunity to talk and getting to know each other. I feel very good with my tribemates, they are all really good people, we are still waiting for Jill but we don't know what's happening with her, i hope she's all right.        The first challenge was a really great experience!!!, i think we work really hard to win this challenge. We had some problems in the beginning but we work really hard as a group and the thing is that in the END we wooon!!!

WooHoo! I knew we would kick ass in the first challenge. I think that the teamwork of this tribe is absolutely wonderful right now and I hope it will continue! Wonder what's up with Jill. Anyways when I first signed up for this game I thought there would be a lot of backstabbing and trash-talking, but apparently I was wrong. Everybody in my tribe is just so... nice and friendly. So far there really hasn't been a lot of discussions on the game strategies yet. I'm also sure that most people in my tribe don't want to discuss it either. Right now all I'm hoping for is for us to win every challenge that comes in our way.

ability to work well together. I was afraid I would regret coming back to
these games but our host is doing an excellent job from the get go. We are
all lucky to be on the same team. We work well together! I am enjoying being
on this team and in this game! I like the way we are in sync in these
challenge. Usually challenge where the whole team is involved can take a

Megan - Batrobik Tribe
Hey Sam! Here is my reflection from this challenge. Andre and I started things after we discussed it on Yahoo Messenger (good thing I downloaded it). We were both afraid to start it, but knew we had to. We sent an E-mail to everyone explaining why we started it so that the rest of our tribe wouldn't think we were trying to take over. Andre decided to send it to Josie - it was between Richard or Josie. We just don't know that much about Jill, and the time difference with Farrah is hard to do a speed challenge. We hardly hear from Jill - if we were to lose a challenge, I think she would be the first to go, followed by Farrah. Richard and Josie are a little bossy (already trying to become our leaders), and the only problem with Andre is the language barrier. They are still strong tribe mates. I have no idea if the other people feel the same way I do, for all I know, they could be conspiring against me. (Not being paranoid or anything.) My strategy so far is to just be very involved with the tribe, but not try to be a leader. I'm trying to stay slightly in the background and not make anyone mad. So this was my long descriptive paragraph. Can't wait for the next challenge!

First of all, I wanted to say good job on the challenge! We are (again) not having to go to tribal council! I hated to start the challenge without talking to anyone first, but Andre and I decided we had to because of time issues. If a challenge comes up again like this in the future, should we all agree that whoever gets the challenge first should just start? If someone has a problem with that, that's fine, just let me know! Do you think we should all get to know each other more? (Age, occupation, hobbies, etc.) That could be a challenge, since the host didn't give us anything but each other's email addresses. Just a thought I had! Let's keep this winning streak up! We have an awesome tribe!

Well I have been talking to Richard and Andre quite a bit and I like them they are good active strong players so when Andre ask about alliances I hesitated but I felt I should tell them about Jill's offer. I left out the part about Blake's possible eventual involvement because I want Jill to at least have a chance in this game. She missed the first challenge and even though she did not participate in the second one she was online and wanted to help. I will admit that while Jill is a nice person and would be more involved if possible in the game I feel I owe Richard and Andre because they have worked hard at this game.

Hey Sam!!!, it's Andre, this week has been very cool!, finally Jill TALK and send messages to us, she was having some problems in her hometown. Actually i talk for the very first time with MEGAN on yahoo messenger, but with Jill i didn't have the chance to talk with her, i hope we can talk later. The challenge was very cool, Megan and i decided to START the game, because we were the only ones ONLINE at that point. We have some problems in the challenge but at least we came in 2nd place and we didn't have to go to TC. After the challenge we (Richard, Josie, and myself) started to celebrate because we were not going to TC, and then we started to talk about the game, strategies, alliances, etc..., but we decided that we were going to still playing as a tribe (i think so), and i don't know if in the end the three of us form an alliance but we talk about farah also, she's one of the strongest member in our tribe...........actually we started to talk about Jill and we said that she was very cool but right now at this point of the game she was the WEAKEST MEMBER of our tribe. And finally i heard that Jill was trying to form alliances with others, and to be honest i was SHOCK at first but then i think she's just doing this because she feels that we wanna vote her off and i think she's trying to save herself.

Challenge 2
OK...so challenge 2 is over now. Although I'm online a lot, I still feel I lose out in terms of the time difference. When I checked my email for Challenge 2, I realized that the frog is already with Richard (the 4th person). It was good that the rest made the initiative to start the challenge. However, I was very helpless when I knew that I could have done something but not without Richard passing the frog to me. So when Richard did get my email telling him to pass it to me immediately, it was a case of a little too late. As I was at work at that point of time & unfortunately had to run an urgent errand for my boss, I couldn't wait for his email. It was really terrible....even more so when I saw you online! But I really had to go.....
When I came back, the results were already out. But I'm glad that we don't have to go to Tribal Council.
On a different note altogether, the team effort has been good. But I believe some people has been making alliances with each other. I've been told by Jill that Josie has hooked up with Andre. Since Josie is an old hand in this game, we feel that she's 1 of the stronger members in the tribe. There's been some kind of back-stabbing I heard (not too sure what happened between Josie & Jill). So now Jill, Richard & me is forming an alliance. Well, at least Jill & me confirmed. We are still waiting for Richard to give his confirmation. Hopefully this will come in handy should we have to go to TC(touch wood!). So I'm waiting anxiously for the next challenge.

So, as I'm talking to you, I guess I'll E-mail you my reflection as well. I approached Andre about an alliance between us on Tuesday night, and he said he would have to think about it. According to Richard, Richard, Andre, and Josie had an alliance ... the order was Jill, me, then Farah to vote off. Farah, Richard, and Jill voted for Josie. Which leaves Josie, me, and Andre against Jill. This means Richard lied to Andre - Andre told me Richard's vote was for Jill. Apparently, Josie was telling Richard and Andre that the other 3 of us had an alliance (which wasn't true - I hadn't gotten that far.) Both Richard and Jill are rude in their E-mails to me, I think I'm the next to go. By Richard's E-mail, there is a lot of stuff I don't know about. I think Richard and Farah have an alliance together, but I'm not sure about that. I have absolutely no clue what to do about this. I don't know if I should try to form an alliance - I have a feeling that everyone is talking to everyone else and could really screw myself over. I might just play it low, not make anyone mad, and see what happens now that Josie's gone. Until the next challenge/reflection ... adios!

Challenge 3
So now we are left with 5 members after the 1st tribal council that we had to go through. Frankly speaking, I didn't expect this tribe to lose on this challenge. So we had to do the what he had to do that is to eliminate 1 of our members. I chose Josie because I felt she's a threat right from the start as she seems very experienced in this game. But I have nothing against her what so ever.
For the next challenges, we have to communicate more so that we can get the desired results.
But then again, it's been a little chaotic with someone in the tribe not being truthful enough. I guess that person will be the next target should this tribe have to go to TC again.
I believe my alliance with Richard & Jill is still strong because we've been very truthful to one another. 
Ok, looking forward to Challenge 4. I hope I won't miss it again!

Hey Sam! 
I formed an alliance with Andre on Thursday night. He seemed like the most enthusiastic and truthful guy in the tribe, so it seemed like a good move. Then I got an E-mail from Richard (who, by the way, I thought was 30 something and is actually 19) saying that Jill, Farah, and himself were all going to vote for Andre at the next TC, so I should too so I'm not the next target. This leaves me in a tough situation - vote for Andre and betray our alliance to try and save my own butt, or continue our alliance and possibly be the next one voted out of the tribe. Luckily, I don't have to worry about this tonight. Maybe your announcement tomorrow will be a merge! That would probably solve all of my problems... Maybe. Andre told me that Jill says I'm the weakest link of the tribe - I'm not understanding this one, Jill is definitely our weakest link. She wasn't even a participant in our first challenge, and she almost screwed us up with challenge number 4. I guess I'll have to wait and see what your announcement will be. I know that for my own butt I should forget my alliance at the next TC, but I know that my conscious will be not happy if I do. Something to contemplate, I guess. Until the next reflection...
