| Notes: Smarts trip was awesome. Started at the Dartmouth Skiway trail head. The hike up was tough in the winter but well worth it. The whole crew was amazing and good spirited. THANKS GUYS! The top was very windy and the tower was cold. When we summited there was a group at the top climbing the tower. Asked them if they were staying and they weren't. after they started down the MOC were the only ones atop Smarts that night. had a good dinner, card game and shot fireworks out of the fire tower. Off to bed, temperature around 0*F. Awesome breakfast of hot cereal and cinnamon bread. Woke up to about a foot of snow.
