| Notes: Road closed from gate up extra mile walk in to actual trail head. Overcast so there was not much natural light for us to have our "Moon Lit Hike". Headlamps were used on asent. We didnt use snowshoes which made it tougher to hike up, felt like one step up, one and a half down. Group took their time, all following Heidi and Cole. Hit summit just before the snow storm rolled in so we were able to look west and see Canaan lit up. Stayed at top for a short snack and some hydration. Robert took some picture of the tower and the group. The desent took us a quarter of the time to get down than up. Go Figure! I believe everyone had a great time. -DM | ||||||||||||||||
