I am the delightful Paradox.
All the world is in my stage.
I set new trails ablaze;
I seek the unattainable,
And try the untried.
I dance to life's music
In gay abandon.
Come with me on my carousel rides
See the myriad colors,
The flickering lights.
All hail me the unparalleled performer.

I am the Tiger
.

   Tigers are born under the sign of courage. In some Asian countries the Tiger is the national symbol who, it is believed, acts as a protection against the three great disasters: fire theft and evil spirits. Tigers are both brave and powerful, with a strong sense of their personal identity. For those born under the Tiger's influence, to be somebody is paramount. But whoever the Tiger becomes, it must be one of their own making. This said, Tigers will go to any lengths to prove themselves. But whoever they become, Tigers do not like being ignored.

   Tigers are strong on ideas and seem to posses a never ending stream. They are not types to go unnoticed and frequently rise to a position of high command. Even so, Tigers seldom enjoy total responsibility, preferring to be captains rather than generals. They adapt easily to any role that gives them the opportunity to display their abundant courage and imagination.

  Tigers are impetuous and born rebels. They love a good scrap and few other signs are better equipped to win. It is a great mistake to tangle with a Tiger or try to push one around. For all their power and strength, the Tiger has a serious flaw - They are short-paced creatures. First off the mark, a Tiger will quickly lead the field but the chances of them staying ahead over a long distance are remote. Emotionally stuck in the mud, a Tiger loses all sense of their identity. Depression quickly sets in and takes a massive effort from all those around to get the Tiger up and running. Once back in the race, a Tiger soon forgets about yesterday, their concentration fixed firmly on the next exiting project.

  Tigers are extremely generous and when a Tiger makes a new friend they tend to give everything all at once. In love, Tigers are truly reckless and often risk everything to obey their demanding heart. In fact, Tigers go through taking risks, which is why the Chinese say that danger is a constant companion. Quick to praise, Tigers are also quick to criticize, and they do so openly. Nevertheless, the Tiger, helped by their fertile imagination, makes a first-class parent who teaches by example. Because their emotions tend to fizzle out, Tigers do not find lasting friendships easy.

  The three phases of a Tigers life will be unpredictable, a word that could easily sum up their character. During childhood, the Tiger is a constant source of worry to their parents. Young Tigers are full of vigor one second and go frighteningly silent the next. Tiger girls are usually tom boys, who will doubtless add a few extra lines to their parents' foreheads. The middle period, dotted with alternating self doubt and over confidence, is the most difficult. Once through the danger zone, a Tiger's old age is a peaceful as any Tiger is likely to want it to be.
