The genius of alacrity, Wizard of the impossible. My brilliance is yet unmatched In its originality. My hearts filled with potent magic That could cast a hundred spells I am put together For mine own pleasure. I am the Monkey. Monkeys are born under the sign of fantasy and of all the twelve signs, Monkeys are the closest to man. They are blest with all the very best that mankind offers, and unfortunately, many of his worst faults. On the credit side, Monkeys are endowed with great intelligence. They have a high regard for knowledge and are capable of thinking through even the most complex problems. This they do, seemingly, without effort. Charming and resourceful, Monkeys have a firm sense of their own value. They use a potent mixture of wit and wisdom to attain their goals, of which there are usually dozens. Monkeys are nothing but wheeler-dealers and in business they usually end up settling on the most profitable. As a rule, Though, Monkeys are not originators. Brilliant at taking the ideas of others and skilfully adapting them to suit their own needs, they can turn dross into gold. A Monkey, it is said will try anything once. Monkeys have a cool head and a powerful memory, which tends to give them a great advantage in business. Coupled with a pronounced acquisitiveness, the Monkey's business acumen invariably leads to a healthy bank balance, which, the Chinese Horoscopes warn unkindly, is usually governed by a tight fist. However, there are few more generous with help or praise when it is genuinely needed. Highly organised, though sometimes prone to casting superficial judgements, Monkeys are gifted creatures with the extraordinary ability to make people believe whatever they say. The Chinese again warn against this, pointing out that since their sign is fantasy, Monkeys find it difficult to distinguish between fact and fiction. Most Monkeys enjoy a highly sophisticated sense of humour. This they might easily use to get out of a tight corner, more common for a Monkey than any other sign. Intrepid travellers, Monkeys see an open road both as a challenge and a route to new experiences. If the Monkey one outstanding quality it is the power to adapt. Once a Monkey has decided a course of action, they must act there and then. If not, they'll quickly move on to something else. If a project turns sour you won't find a Monkey nursing their wounds. Quick to recover, They will be up and running in no time at all. Because they have a constant need to develop new interests. Monkeys frequently find long term relationships elude them. No one person truly satisfies a Monkey, the reason that Monkeys are not seeking satisfaction. It is the love of new experiences that the Monkey enjoys. The Chinese view of the Monkey states that they prefer intrigue to love itself. The first phase of the Monkey's will be dictated by an unsettled childhood in which there will be a constant brush authority. A lack of stability at home and a trail of failed relationships will dominate the second phase. Usually there will be enough money to pay the rent and alimony. Old age is kinder to the inquisitive Monkey, in spite of the fact that the Chinese say that the Monkeys are in danger of meeting a sudden end in a far place. |
