In the appendix, method matters are explained: my hipothesis
about the birth of Asturian culture; the reasons why I believe
that modern folklore can explain some aspects of pre-Christian
beliefs. Although I am not any scholar (I am studying mining
engineering) I think I have managed to unfold an earnest and
serious work. I am not any "wicca" believer, and I think the reason why
no "serious" scholar has ever tried to explore the sources I
have used in my essay, is simply that they don`t know them.
There is a mutual lack of knowledge between Asturian and
English-speaking scholars, since the first seldom study Celtic
myths (in the University of Oviedo they have chosen Latin
religion as an explanation for our myths),and Saxons
ignore everything about Asturias and the NW corner of the
Iberian Peninsula in general. I would be happy if a lasting
collaboration started between experts from both sides of the
sea, upon some of the topics that I hint. I enclose all my
sources in my book, they are totally reliable. As to my
conclusions, I have explained the road that led me to every one
of them, and I think they are all reasonable
