Slayers tells the story of a sorceress Lina Inverse (whose voice, by the way, is done by Hayashibara Megumi, and it's really good). Lina is young (15 or so) and knows a lot of magic. She loves food, money, and fun; and uses magic to get that. She steals from bandits and basically does whatever she wants. It doesn't exactly make her bad, but she still destroys a lot of things. If you like Hayashibara Megumi, you'll like Slayers. She does a great Lina voice!

This anime is composed of three series: Slayers (26 episodes), Slayers Next (26 episodes), and Slayers Try (26 episodes), and also several movies. I have manga up to chapter 4.
