I read a little bit of the manga... so here's what I know: Keitarou is a clumsy and idiotic guy who has failed the college entrance exams three times (I think). He desperately wants to go to Tokyo University but has failed (it's a reeeeeaaallly hard school to get into). But because of a girl from his childhood told him that the must both go to Tokyo University so they can fall in love, he is taking the test for a fourth time. He is kicked out of his house (or something like that) and has come to his grandmother's Hinata Inn, supposedly a hot spring, to stay for a while. But it has been turned to a female dorm. So on the first day, Keitarou makes a fool out of himself and continues to. He meets a girl, Naru, who lives in Hinata Inn and is also taking the entrance exam to get in to Tokyo University.
