Hunter x Hunter (by Togashi Toshihiro, also: Yu Yu Hakusho) starts off with a 12-year-old boy, Gon, wanting to take the Hunter Exam. This exam is to see whether a person is qualified to become a Hunter, a very prestigious title. At the exam, he meets Kurapica, Leorio, and Killua, who later become his companions and good friends. Umm.. I don't really want to spoil it for anyone who's not familiar with the series. But it's really really really good! Just a note, it is a shounen anime/manga series... so there's lots blood and gore (esp manga). Just a note though...

This anime series is complete with 62 episodes and 1 8-part OAV series. The second OAV series has not been released in Japan yet. I have manga chapters 1-130. It isn't finished.. not even close...
