Far into the 21st century, humans have ventured onto planets beyond Earth, not just in research but also in residence and transportation. Spaceships fly through Hyperspace and in the atmosphere of planets and their moons. Among them are bounty hunters who make a living by capturing the most wanted criminals of the solar system. Spike Spiegel and Jet Black, aboard their ship, Bebop, lead the ordinary lives of bounty hunters. They both have backgrounds in the crime scene, with Spike being part of a secret syndicate Red Dragon while Jet is an ex-ISSP cop. Along the way, they meet interesting people, such as Faye Valentine, a woman who was cryogenically frozen some 20 years ago, and Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky, the 4th, or simply Ed, is a 13-year-old hacking genius. The anime is more about each characters past, present, and future rather than the whole bounty hunter theme that ties them all together. They're very interesting and the ending will hit you like a BAM!! Anyway... here's a good Bebop link.
