Chobits is yet another anime/manga by CLAMP (also: Angelic Layer, Card Captor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth, X, RG Veda, Clover, Wish, and CLAMP School Detectives). Motosuwa Hideki is a farm hick who comes to Tokyo to study for the college entrance exam. On his home one day, he discovers a Persocon discarded in the trash. He takes it home and names it Chii. He found it a little strange that Chii can't do anything. Persocons are robots that can do all sorts of things (ex: accounting, email, talk...); all you gotta do is install a software. It's like a walking computer that talks! Hideki wants to find out more about Chii and goes to a friend of a friend, Kokubunji Minoru. Soon, Minoru finds out some disturbing information about Chii. She might be one of the legendary Chobits, who are said to have emotion (regular Persocons can't think for themselves and have human qualities such as emotion). What could this all mean?
