Card Captor Sakura is one of the most popular and successful anime series by CLAMP (also: Angelic Layer, Chobits, Magic Knight Rayearth, X, RG Veda, Clover, Wish, and CLAMP School Detectives). Kinomoto Sakura is a normal fourth grade girl until she found a mysterious magic book in her basement. She unleashed the powerful Clow Cards when she opened the book. The sleeping Guardian Beast of the Seal, Keroberos (or Kero-chan, as Sakura likes to call him/it), appoints Sakura to be the official Card Captor. Thus began the story of the hunt to collect all 52 Clow Cards before they bring disaster to the world. Sakura is joined by her best friend Daidouji Tomoyo, and later two Hong Kong exchange students, Li Shaoran and Li Meilin. But when Sakura does collect all the Clow Cards, what is this Last Judgement to be conducted and who is Yue? And... after she passes the Last Judgement (episode 46), why are there 24 more episodes? Hmm... it does not end yet!

FYI: In manga, there aren't as many Clow/Sakura Cards (only 19)... but is still very similar to the anime. In my opinion, CCS manga is much better than the anime... but that's jut my opinion.

This anime series is complete with 70 episodes, split into 3 TV seasons, 2 movies, and several specials. I also have the manga, complete 12 volumes.
