Maintenance: changing oil

The most important maintenance is changing the oil. If you drive your moped regularly you should change the oil every 3 months. Poor about 0.75l (0.1981 gal) oil in the carter, check the correct oil level without the oil lever being screwed into the carter.

To change the oil you must unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the carter. In most cases this bolt won't come lose anymore. I've solved this by drilling a hole through the bolt (size 5 or 5.5mm) and then I've cut screw thread (M6) in the hole. Don't forget to stick an oil- and heatproof washer between the M6 bolt and the old bolt.
