I admired the man. He was a hero of mine. As you know if you've visited lately, I haven't been updating much. I'll have to admit, I'm a normal guy and the novelty of having a webpage has faded a bit. I'll still add some things as time goes by though. I hope you enjoy your visit!

Who am I?

My name is Sam Johnson. I'm just a lowly race fan who spends way too much money on stock car racing. I live in Georgia, (pronounced JAWJA), about 37 miles east southeast of Atlanta. I go to at least eight Winston Cup races a year and many of the Busch and Allpro events as well.

The main reason I got on the internet in the first place was to stay current on racing news. The Atlanta market is void of race news! Since I've hooked up I've found some interesting race sites and even a couple of cool chatrooms. Links to these and other interesting sites can be found below.

Well...if you've been here before, you know I run a NAPA store. I'm as proud as can be that we are sponsoring Michael Waltrip in the Napa Chevy. I started telling people as soon as we signed him that he was going to win a race in 2001, even though he never had before. I had no idea it would be the Daytona 500! Favorite track

I have been to races at Atlanta, both old and new configuration, Talladega, Darlington, Daytona, Charlotte, North Wilkesboro, Rockingham, and Bristol. BRISTOL RULES!! For non stop action, you've gotta go to Bristol. Somebody's rubbin' somebody every lap. It's short track racing at its best.
