IN THE SPIRIT OF COOPERATION

However, as a service to all Z Car enthusiasts, we would be happy to refer you to other organizations and groups, if you are also interested in a greater number of social events than we have available.

There are a number of fledging groups/organizations in the area. One such group, although just getting started, and off to a slow, but good start is Desert Z Association . We hope to see a lot more activity out of this group in the future and wish them good luck, in their endeavors. Another group is called the Twin Turbo Z's of Arizona which is a group of guys loosely formed in their mid 20's that drive 1990-96 Twin Turbo 300ZX's. We look forward to some joint events with these groups in the near future.

Membership Policy Statement

In the spirit of cooperation and fair play in offering the Z Car enthusiasts a well rounded experience, we ALSO invite you to join any other Z car groups/organizations, as well. As they become known to us we will notify our membership.

It is our sincere hope that all other organizations will do the same. This obviously benefits all Z enthusiasts to be able to leverage into what each group's focus and interest, and does not spread any one group too thin trying to do too much, and nothing every well. For us, we consider it our discount program, tech sessions, extensive working knowledge of the cars, and special activities. No one group can do it all well. We all wish we could, and would like to think so, but the reality is that we all can not. OUR attempt here is only to clarify our focus and interests and certainly not at the expense of any group(s).

We feel it is important to take continual steps for all organizations to work cooperatively with each other, instead of against each other by putting each other down, or constantly comparing each other as if in competition with each other.

Of course a friendly spirited, healthy, competition can be fun, especially at joint events. However, the opposite or a destructive, unhealthy bitterness toward another group or individual is not. We do not consider ourselves in competition will any one or group and hope that other groups feel the same. Historically, rivalries between organizations or individuals in organizations have served no useful purpose and benefit no one in the long run.

Our members will be expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes fair play and cooperation between our members, as well as, other automotive organizations. This more than just "lip service". It is the policy of this organization that members SHALL not INTENTIONLY IMPUNE AN INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP'S REPUTATION BY ENGAGING in ANY ACTIVITY THAT PROMOTES an UNHEALTHLY rivalry between each other or any other automotive group, organization, club or association.

A lot of us enjoy our cars, driving them, working on them, enhancing them, and just looking at them. That experience should not be diminished in any way. So let's go have some fun!!
