The Hungry Valley SVRA is located in the Los Padres National Forest, 60 miles north of Los Angeles, California, off I-5. Take I-5 to the Gorman exit and follow the signs to Hungry Valley. Trailheads are located at East Frazier and Tejon
Terrain/Area Size
The area's 19,000 acres include features that will satisfy all levels of riders, from open flats bordered by steep hills to narrow forest paths winding through its western portion
Amenities
Primitive dispersed camping with pit toilets, shade ramadas, picnic tables and fire rings is amply avaiable. The town of Gorman offers full supplies and a few hotels.
Requirements
All bikes must have a spark arrestor/silencer and a current California OHV sticker. All bikes must stay on designated trails. Helmets are mandatory.
Fees
Day-use fee is $4; overnight is $6. Use is determined on a first-come, first-served basis, but clubs may reserve specific areas in advance.
Times of Operation
Open year-round, but may be closed do to inclement weather.
