The Croom Motorcycle Area is located 40 miles northeast of tampa, Florida, and 40 miles west of Orlando. From Tampa, drive north on I-75, then west on HW 98. Turn right at the Holiday Inn. The entrance to the park is at the intersection behind the hotel.
Terrain/Area Size
The area's 2600 acres include narrow trails, wide trails, sandy and rocky uphills, and an abandoned mining pit with whoops, jumps and berms, as well as a small area for novice riders
Amenities
Campground equipped with running water, restrooms and electrical hookups. No reservations accepted and no pets allowed.
Requirements
Helmets are mandatory. Riders under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult; unlicensed vehicles must stay off the main road
Fees
Riders must purchase an annual pass of $25, prorated from July to June. Camping sites without electric hookups cost $8 with/$10 per night.
Times of Operation
Open year-round, riding permitted from sunup to sundown.
