Ferrari F355 Berlinetta


The Ferrari F355 Berlinetta has a completely flat floor, chosen for its
performance in wind tunnel tests.  It is claimed to reduce lift when the
car is at high speeds.  The only thing that the F355 shares with the car
it replaced, the F348, is the roof and the front fenders.  Not only does
the F355 have a more modern look, it handles and drives better than the
F348.  The Berlinetta has a 3.5 liter DOHC 40-valve V-8 engine.  The F355
will zip to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, and redlines at a top speed of
179 mph in sixth gear.  This mid-engine, rear-drive coupe has 375 hp, and
a base price of $128,000 (US).
