The Esprit is one of the fastest four cylinder cars in the world.
Powered by a 2.2 liter 16-valve turbo-charged inter-cooled engine.
The Lotus Esprit has 300 wild horses under the hood, and can go up
to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.  The maximum speed of the Esprit is 162
mph.  The philosophy of the English firm was: a smaller motor weighs
less,and hence the car isn't strained with the extra luggage to carry.
Cost?  Only $75,000 USA.
