Welcome to my Home Stereo page... I'm new to home stereo, but have gotten hooked already... I've started a small but great sounding home stereo system.

My stereo is based on the Pioneer Elite line of componenets, I've found this to be a great sounding, full featured line of components. With a reasonable price.

My reciever is the Pioneer Elite VSX-49, it has plenty of power, sounds great and has a few features I've come to love: It has on screen programing, allowing you to adjust almost anything from prologic mode, to rear channel time delay.

My CD player is a Pioneer Elite PD-F109, Pioneers top of the line multi CD player. It sounds great, and has a few features I love: it has onscreen disc title memory, you can scroll through the CD titles and select the disc you wish to hear, and every feature is adjustable on screen.

My front speakers are Nuance Magic One's, they are the best sounding speakers I found to fit my budget. One very nice thing about Nuance, is ALL of their speakers sound exactly the same above around 80Hz, you can mix and match their speakers for a home theatre system, without worrying about tonal balance or musicality. The main difference between their midsize bookshelf speakers (the ones I bought) and their top of the line tower speakers is the amount of low bass output and power handling. If anyone is looking for a great sounding midsize speaker I highly recomend the Nuance Magic series.
