Second year Mechanical Engineering Technology student. Made Dean's List for '97-'98 school year.

September 1996 to April 1997: University College of Cape Breton, Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Completed the first year of the Bachelor of Computer Science program.

September 1993 to June 1996: Riverview Rural High School, Coxheath, Nova Scotia.

Favorite courses included Math, Physics and Computer Related Studies.

WORK EXPERIENCE

April 1998 to August 1998: Caseline Support at Pratt and Whitney Canada Plant #41 - Process Planning.

Mostly drafting work converting CAD files from old CAD software (CADAM) to new CAD software (CATIA). Involved cleaning up and editing manufacturing operation sheets for conversion and sometimes incorporating an engineering change. Knowledge of manufacturing/machining process and drafting standards acquired.

May 1997 to November 1997: Receiving, Labor, Cash, Data Entry at the University College of Cape Breton - Campus Bookstore and Caper Corner.

Entering all inventory into computer system, unloaded boxes of books off of trucks and processed them. Processing included writing damage reports, counting, and receiving/ordering books through computer software. Also packing and putting books in storage. Waiting on customers and working cash.

September 1996 to April 1998: Computer Technician at the University College of Cape Breton - Extension and Community Affairs, Distance Education.

Tasks include running an monitoring the system for the distance education classes during class time, and providing technical support.
