Below you can find my most recent timeslips, a you can
see from my 60 ft. times, I am still having troublegetting
the car hooked on street tires.
These runs were made at Maryland International Raceway's Midnight Madness on 3/JUL/98 The last run was in the first round of eliminations and I lost.

These runs were also made at Maple Grove Raceway. At their Friday Night Grudge Racing on 31/JUl/98. As you can see, my 60 ft. times are still very inconsistent, but everything else, except the fifth run where I missed third, is getting more consistent and my MPH is up.

These runs were at Maple Grove's friday Night grudge Racing on 14/AUG/98. The evening didn't start out very well as I missed third on the first two runs and redlighted, twice! But as you can see from the highlighted numbers I did manage my best 60' and my best E/T yet!

The very next Friday night 21/AUG/98 I was back at Maple Grove for Friday Night Grudge Racing. I had a pretty consistent night, except for the second run where I missed third, again! the last three runs I decided to flatshift instead of granny shifting. I recorded my best E/T and trap speed to date, but my 60's still suck!

Since the following Friday was the last Friday Night Grudge Racing of the season at maple Grove, I was there! The night started out badly as I discovered on the first run that launching at idle does not work.

These last two runs of the night were on BF Goodrich Drag Radials that I borrowed from a friend. Unfortunately, there was a major breakdown between these two runs and we had to sit and wait for almost two hours as they cleaned up the track, and I didn't get a chance to tweak my launch technique or play with air pressure, so I bogged on both runs. However, I was quite impressed with the difference in bite between the drag radials and street tires and I will be getting myself a pair of them soon!

As you can see, I have gotten more consistent, but I still haven't been able to get into the 13's. I'm a little bummed, because I know it's me and not the car! I will keep working on it!!
As a matter of fact this Friday, 11/SEPT/98 me and two friends are planning on going to Cecil County Raceway for their Friday Night Grudge racing. Unfortunately, the friend who loaned me his drag radials is going along, so he will be using them and I will be on street tires.
So click on the link below and see if I was able to get that elusive 13 second time slip!!
