Incident Report
  • Laps run: 5
  • Tires - Goodyear: 3 cold, 3 hot; Bridgestone: 3 cold, 2 hot
  • It appears that Rothenheber should have had one more point to spend on the team table, since he was running alone at this race.
  • Multiple spins in the first chicane on the first lap caused heartache to at least half of the field. The remainder of the race was also full of spins, particularly at the second chicane. One such spin on-track in the outside lane of the second chicane caused a following car driven by Carnahan to crash out of the race.
  • Higgins (.00) and Lawrence (.87) diced off for second place, after blocking an attempt by Nestor to make it a three way dice-off.
