Incident Report
  • Tires: 2 cold, 3 hot
  • Laps run: 6
  • The last two scheduled laps were not run due to time constraints. This led to much confusion concerning whether and how to pit.
  • Lawrence passed Carnahan on the final game turn for the win. Carnahan led Lawrence into Peraltada, taking a modified cornerning roll to Lawrence's unmodified cornering roll. Lawrence pulled even on the final space of the corner, and accelerated across the finish line for an exciting, one-space win.
  • Tatum pulled off on lap 6, while in 7th place, after a spin off track and a subsequent spin trying to re-enter the track.
  • Weber blew his engine in the pits on lap 4 while in 10th place.
  • Drivers championship: Lawrence, 10; Carnahan, 6; August, 4; etc.
  • Constructors championship: Williams, 14; Ferrari, 7; etc.
  • FORS is happy to welcome new drivers John Nestor and Tony Jones, and to welcome back Ken Hendrickson.
