  • Laps run: 6
  • DeWitt got a good start, was challenged briefly by Hendrickson, who made a poor start, but cruised to a wire-to-wire victory.
  • Hendrickson's poor start led to a force pass attempt by Weber on game turn 1. He was blocked by Hendrickson and Lawrence, failed to get through, and cost himsef and Hendrickson six tire wear. Lawrence's lost one tire wear.
  • There was great action on the last lap at Leeukop Bend, where Higgins, Dragonetti, Weber, and Kraft battled for positions three through six.
  • Higgins violated the pit lane speed limit and received a 5 second (1 game turn) penalty.
  • Carnahan blew his engine lap 6 while in 8th place, after spinning in Leeukop Bend.
  • Drivers championship: Lawrence, 20; Dragonetti, 12; DeWitt, 11; etc.
  • Constructors championship: Williams, 24; FujiFilm, 23, McLaren, 16; etc.
