Breaking News!
These are the latest "breaks" on the Jeep. Hopefully this info will be useful
to people who have the same problems that I've had.
Date: January 97'
Break: Right rear wheel bearing.
Results: Right rear wheel and axle came off the Jeep.
Fix: Tow truck and local service center. I needed the Jeep back A.S.A.P.
Preventative Fix: Check your dif fluid!!!!
Coments: Four wheelin' is much better than three wheelin!
Price: One axle and new rear brakes alon with labor was $674.45
Date: January 97'
Break: Drivers side door handle
Results: Door won't open from the outside. I hate snow on the seat!
Fix: Bought New door handle from dealer.
Preventative Fix: Use the passenger side door!
Coments: This was an easy fix that anyone can do at home.
Price: The handle cost around $25.
Date: January 97'
Break: Reostat on dash. (dimmer switch)
Results: No dash lights.
Fix: Bought a new reostat from dealer.
Preventative Fix: Mag light.
Coments: This too was an easy fix that anyone car do.
Price: The reostat cost around $33.
Date: December 96'
Break: Jeep is gutless as usual, I'm fed up.
Results: Mopar performance parts used insteas of motorcrap stuff.
Fix: Bought 2 parts from the dealership and followed instructions.
Coments: This made a huge improvement in power and top end. A differnece I can really feel..
Price: The parts cost around $65.
Date: January 97'
