The future for the Dreamliner is quite open. The intention is to change power plants and keep running in different engine classes and to set as many records as possible.
Since the number of salt lakes or deserts suitable for land speed record racing are severely limited in Europe, our opportunities are limited. We anticipate to keep running at the Falkenberg Speed Record Attempt held every second year. This record attempt was held on a public (tarmac) road about 12 m wide, but after extensive rebuilding the road is no longer useable for such activities (read roundabout...). A new and better alternative is underway, probably allready in 2000.
Due to the narrow width of public roads, we do not consider speeds over 250 km/h to be safe for a narrow, unsuspended vehicle like the Dreamliner. However, 250 km/h is enough for many records in the engine displacement classes under one liter.
Still, the car was built with Bonneville in mind and if there is a sponsor, the Dreamliner may touch the Utah salt some day.
