The CDX-3 was a DIN Component CD-Player for use with head
units equipped with AUX input. Just like the previous CDX-1 and CDX-2,
this deck was to be used as the CD source of a tape head unit. It was designed
to look like the high end decks of the late '80s just like the previous
CDX-1 and CDX-2 were designed to look like their high end counterparts.
Nothing special about this deck, just a CD only player that needed a deck
to pass its audio signals through.
