Welcome to my Bronco Page!
This Page deals with all the time and labor I have put into this Bronco,
I have spent the last 4 years working on this marvel of engineering. I
got it just before I turned 16 and have been working on it ever since.
I decided that it deserved to be totally restored(was pretty rusty) and
this is what she looks like now, after 4 years of work.
What ever time I don't spend at work making money
to buy "Stuff" for my bronco, I spend with my honey, Stacey, and my Bronco.
My bronco used to be number one in my life, but not since Stacey came along.
But my bronco is still my good friend, its always there when I need 'er.
I plan on keeping 'er for as long as I live, I'm the second owner (the
first owner got it brand new for a High School graduation present).
I will start of with the drive train. My bronco
is powered by a H.O. 300-6 (YES, the H.O. means High Output) Click
here for more info on the engine! The engine power gets to the
axels via the New Process 435 4Speed Trasmission which is connected to
the New Process 208 transfer case. The power the travels to the front and
rear axels through the 3:08 gears (soon to be 3:50's) and then to the wide
selection of tires(depends on the season) In the rear I run a Detroit EZ-Locker.
The suspension holds up the body with a 1 1/2" lift springs front and 2"
springs in back.
Many of my accessories include Lund stepmates, sun
visor, and bug shield. I also have a Smittybilt Bumper Thumper. On the
inside I have a huge list of goodies (It is a XLT ya know). I have a Sony,
MTX, and Alpine Stereo system. As for trail worthy stuff I have a Cobra
40CH. CB for chatting on, 4ft highlift jack, and a 30ft. tow strap.
For tires I run Goodyear GSA 245/70r15's in the
winter (great on ice and snow). BFGoodrich A/T 31x10.5x15's in the summer
(good all around tire). Super Swamper TSL 33x12.5x15's Bias Ply (don't
know how they work yet, they are going to replace my BFG's this summer)
