| Here (as denoted by the large title) is my web site of guitar stuff. Its a work in progress so bare with me. The guitar to the rigth is my guitar. Ok so maybe it isn't quite my guitar yet, but I AM going to have one of these...eventually. Its a little difficult to describe exactly why this guitar is so much better than nearly (I said nearly) every guitar out there to those of you who adon't have too much experience with guitars but I'll do what I can. Here goes, This (right, der) is a Paul Reed Smith CE 22 archtop. The body is made of Mahogany and the top is carved maple. The neck is rock maple and has a rosewood fret board with abalone inlayed dots. It has two Dragon II dual coil humbucker pickups and the standard PRS tremolo bridge. It comes in a bunch of different colors but this one (the one I want) is in Whale Blue. This one goes for about $3000; which, is the main reason I don't own one yet. My CAR was only $500 more than this guitar. Now that all that is out of the way, I've played one of these (hooked up to a Mesa-Boogie Triple Rectifier for those who care) and if I had the money to throw around like that it would be $3k well spent (I think at least). It looks a million times better than my guitar and plays marginally better. | |

This (left) is really trully my guitar. Oh, and that's me playing it too. It's a G. E. Hunt custom guitar based off of a Fender Thinline Telecaster. It's semi-hollow bodied, made of curly maple on the top and ash ( i think) on the bottom. The neck and Fret board (all one piece) are made of maple-burl w/ ebony inlay for the dots. I've got a Seymor-Duncan HotRails humbucker in the bridge and a generic Seymor-Duncan duel coil humbucker up front. It sounds awesome but it looks crappy because it has a horrible finish on it. Which, reminds me, for those of you who actually look at this site, I'd like some help deciding what color i want this guitar to be so here's my choices: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Oh dear god I want one of these. This is a PRS Dragon III, a limited edition (discontinued too) custom 22 that has the sweetest damn inlay ever. The one thing stopping me from having this is the fact that the last one I saw was priced at $35,000. Let's see, PRS guitar, or '98 BMW M3, hmmm, tough choice [insert blatant sarcasm here]. That should do it for now. as soon as i get decent pictures of my guitars (the ones I actually own) then they'll go up here too. |
