July 4, 1999

Woodliegh Raceway

This race-day was nothing but fast flowing adrenaline, thanks to great racing by Bikes, Quads, & Cars. These machines Ooohh-ed the thick croud as they twisted 'round corners, flew through the air, and wheelied down the straights.

Pee Wee

6 - Year Old, Anthony Mafood blew away the competition. He left EVERYONE in both Motos, without a clue on how to keep up. 2nd was Brandon Samms, & 3rd was Luke Mafood.

80cc
John Ammar Jr. gets his first ever Overall Win in style with a perfect 1-1 score on the day. Daryl Hoo gave Ammar good competition, considering this was only his second day riding his new Yamaha YZ (which he had purchased from Yamaja Engines Ltd. only 2 days prior). A well deserved 3rd place was earned by Pee Wee winner Anthony Mafood. John Ammar Showed confidence, when he whipped his bike almost totally flat, it looked sweet, and we cannot believe he pulled it off without eating it.

125cc
Forieghner David Rogers showed up and raced a borrowed bike to give Christian Salea good battle. Both riders swaped for the lead and went hard, in the beginning laps of both motos, each rider would capitalize on mistakes made by the others, but it was Sale who came out the overall victor with a hard earned 1-1 score. Rogers in 2nd, & John Ammar Jr. in 3rd.

Quads

Micheal Lodenqui battled it out with Cary Gordon. Lodenqui came out on top this time, beating the four-stroke with his two stroke. Lodenqui went 1-1, as domination was the specialty of the day.

Sprint Class

Chrisian Sale on his 125 absolutely left everyone, Quads included. During this runaway Ryan Scott took 2nd, and John Ammar Jr. 3rd. The Quads were suprised at Christian Sale's speed, But it was Lodenqui again the winner.

Autocross

This was the first ever Autocross Meet held at Woodliegh Raceway. Doug Gore of Team Mo-bay Racing showed up in An all new Mitsubishi Evolution 6, and ridht away, many felt that nothing would compare. All classes put aside, the 6 set the fastest time around the car circuit. But the one and only Subaru Impreza in the field made it a very close finish.Jeffery Panton in the Subaru beat the time set by Gore, by only one hundreth of a second. Drivers stated that the track is tight but fast, it definately worked thier skill and concentration in the pilot seat.

Anthony mafood & one of the many Beutiful trophy girls
Even the camera had trouble keeping up
Sale had to adjust his brake lever before the race
Jeffery Panton cleaned it up in his Impreza
