Apologies for the long silence due to a busy period at work and then my computer going funny on me...anyway I promise I will do some more work on the site soon. The news is that I am going to Bangkok next week for 4 and a half days! :-) Can't wait. Watch this space for photos of course...

I just checked and my website didn't disappear overnight or anything.
Today is my Dad's birthday. Happy birthday Dad!
Anyway I have a few minutes in my lunch break to write a little bit about what I am up to at the moment. Which is, well, not a lot really. With any luck I will be starting a photography course by distance learning next week (if the Open College of the Arts gets the materials to me!). And this weekend I am going to Kyoto with Tom (my friend at the British Embassy in Tokyo) so that will provide me with some more material for this site.

OK so you probably know already, but I will be back in the UK from 18-28 July. Mainly I'll be in Manchester but will also be stopping by in London and Cambridge, and possibly Bristol too. Looking forward to seeing everyone again of course - I've been away far too long...
