Goals Meeting at Applebee’s in Seekonk at 7:30. We will be discussing such topics as fundraising, charities, planning the budget, future parties, etc. We value you as a member and your input is very important, therefore we urge you to attend. Please RSVP to Kellie.

Topic: Tax Advising. Nancy has volunteered to answer any questions we may have regarding filing income tax. Please RSVP by 2/5 with any questions you would like answered. This way she can be better prepared. RSVP by 2/5, Nancy.

Topic: Driving Safety. John, who is with AAA, will be speaking to us about driving safely in winter weather. He will discuss auto safety tips such as what supplies you should keep in your vehicle as well as what to do in an emergency on the road. RSVP Barbara by 2/23.

Planning night at Gregg’s on N. Main St. in Providence at 7:30. Please join us for dinner or dessert (or both) and help us fill the Spring calendars with fun activities. RSVP Kathy.

Mom's Night Out

Game night at Lorena’s. Let’s get together for an evening of board games and socializing. RSVP Lorena.

Dave & Busters at the Providence Place Mall is an arcade geared toward the adult child. In addition to virtual reality video games and pool tables, they also have good food and a full bar. Join us for a night of fun. RSVP Barbara.

Book Club. This months book is Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman. This book is also a movie so if you don’t have time to read the book you can rent the movie and still participate in the discussion.

Build-A-Bear Workshop is a fun store where you can create your own Teddy Bear. The Master Bear Builders will help you choose, stuff, stitch, fluff and dress your very own customized bear. The animals are priced from $10 to $25, and the outfits and accessories are priced from $4 to $12. You do not have to purchase clothing or accessories, however. Please RSVP to Barbara by 2/6.

Providence Children’s Museum offers fun activities for children of all ages. The water room seems to be the favorite so bring an extra shirt in case they get too wet. Pack a lunch. RSVP Madelyn.

Tour the Cranston Fire station. Get an up close look at a real fire engine and fire fighters. This was a big hit with the kids last year. We could have lunch at Burger King afterwards and let the kids play on the indoor playground. RSVP Kellie.
