This is the Far Northwest side of Chicago Chapter of the IOMOTC and the NOMOTC including Park Ridge, Elmwood Park and other close suburbs.

Membership Dues--$30.00 for the year 2003-04

Dues for the upcoming year were due on August 15, 2003.  The dues are $30 and this covers your membership in the Twice As Nice MOMS (local chapter), Illinois Organization of Mothers of Twins Club, and the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club.  

IOMOTC:

The Illinois Organization of Mothers of Twins Club, Inc. (IOMOTC) was founded in 1962 as an Illinois non-profit, educational, public service organization for mothers of twins and higher order multiple birth children. IOMOTC provides support, information, and networking services to parents of twins and higher order multiples through its member club affiliates.

IOMOTC is proud to serve multiple birth families in Illinois through its scholarship program, Special Needs Assistance Fund, speakers' bureau, quarterly publication, and annual conference.

IOMOTC also serves as a liaison with the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc., a network of local clubs nationwide whose basic purposes are research and education.

NOMOTC:

National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc. (NOMOTC)

Network of more than 475 local clubs representing over 23,000 individual parents of multiples -- twins, triplets and quadruplets(NOMOTC)

NOMOTC was founded in 1960 for the purpose of promoting the special aspects of child development which relate specifically to multiple birth children.

The goal is to improve public awareness of the needs of multiple birth children by fostering development of local support groups, enhancing the quality of educational materials available to parents, educators and others and by cooperating with and participating in research projects which involve twins and/or their families.

 

MOMs Club Website

MOMs stands for Mothers Offering Mothers Support. (This club is not exclusively for Mothers of multiple children.)

The goal is:

  • To provide a support group for mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their children.
  • To provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers.
  • To help children in the community.
  • To provide at least one service project yearly helping needy children.
