| Friends Proverbs 27 , 17 "Iron sharpeneth iron, So a man sharpeneth the countance of his friend" Proverbs 27, 6 and 9 "Faithful are the wounds of a friend but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful" "ointment and perfume rejoice the heart; so doth the sweetness of a mans friend by hearty counsil" Proverbs 17, 17 "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" Disappointments of life are unavoidable. Surley as the seasons change, it is our destiny.But what we do when we are faced with such travails is what defines our charactors.Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow, the bible said. So it is good to have a friend. Someone to fall back one, no matter what the trials wiil be there to defend you until the end. No matter what will stand proudly and say "thats my friend". But sometimes things don't always go as planned. Sometimes the devil will try to destroy what God has brought together. Sometimes friends will let you down, for we are all mearly human. We are not perfect by no streach of the word. But what you do when a friend has let you down? LOVE THEM ! Anger only gets you tired, sick, and despaired. For if we humble ourselves we do our heart good, and we won't provock ourselves to anger. A man is only as big as the things that make him angry. If you feel a friend has wronged you then fall to your face and pray. Then go to your friend and fix the problem and don't let the sun go down on your problems. If you let it go and go , it will become like a festering sore. It will leave a scare on your bond between friends. " Be not hasty in spirit to be angery, for anger resteth in the bosom of fools." If you find yourself angry. Step away, find a place to pray, and Go to God with your problems. For when you put your faith in God anything is possible. Some times tho, there is a hidden purpose Of God. Simetimes Friendships can't be fixed and it is better to go your seperate ways. But don't part on bad terms. Mend the broken fence so that maybe some day when your paths cross again it is a sweet and memeriable time and not one of dreed and dispare. Everything is a lession, and what we learn from it depends on us. We can walk away feeling let down, alone , and discourraged. Or we can take faith in God that he will lead us through this field, and what we plant their will grow and will become closer to God |
