Released in 1973 on the Polydor label

This was a lavish compilation album featuring Jan Akkerman together with some other great guitar players. Inside the gatefold sleeve there was a cartoon of each player depicted as a cigarette card together with a colour photo and short biography plus details on the track. There was also a small history of the electric guitar plus a short lesson for beginners. It is now a very collectable item.

Polydor also released a cut down single album version which included Jan Akkerman plus Jimi Hendrix and the better known players like Eric Clapton.
