HAMBURGER CONCERTO

This memorable album divides the preferences of the fans with Moving Waves when the subject is which the best album of FOCUS.
I like Moving Waves a lot, mainly for being the album that projected the group for the success, but I should admit that I consider Hamburger Concerto a masterpiece.
In the first track of the album, Deliti Music, we already have a sample of what will coming in the next minutes of audition. A pretty introduction in medieval style is played by Thijs in the flute and Jan in the lute.
Starting from there the 'auditory adventure' begins, with the 'strong' Harem-Scarem, the lyricism of La Cathedrale of Strasbourg, the wonderful track Birth, that begins with a beautiful harpsichord sound, and finally the Hamburger Concerto suite - during the course of more than 20 minute performance, the band plays almost 30 different instruments between them. An strongly recommended record.
And I'm very happy that our friends Tim Baugh and Irene Heinicke sent rare items for our site, and I could make this section to celebrate this great album. A gift for all of us, fans of FOCUS.
