| ABOUT US WildFire were formed when Sian was asked to sign a song of sixpence at the end of school ceremony. AImee was also asked to play a solo guitar piece and also a band piece. Sian decided that she didnt like the idea of singing no crappy song alone and loved the idea of a full band being behind her. Aimee needed a band to back her on a performance of "apache" by the shadows. So the 2 friends spoke and decided that a)apache wouldnt be right for the night and b) Sian should sing a rock song... n so it began! Sian decided that they should do a cover of "Sweet child o mine" by Guns n roses and Aimee agreed this was definately the song to be played. All that was needed was a drummer, bassist and a few practises. Aimee and Sian were friends for a long time before the band formed and had already been in a band togther stupidly named "flyin sheep" the band were suprisingly a failure, with non of the band members being able to play! Aimee and Sians friendship continued even though the flyin sheep were dead and buried and they both spoke in there music class with the much loved teacher, Miss Fraser! This is where Will was found... Aimee had also played with Will in one of her exams and so Aimee and Sian decided Will was the right guy and Will was more than happy to play.Now there was jus the practises and the drummer! As the night got nearer the band were freaking out about not having a drummer playin infront of over 1000 people with no drummer would be truely stupid and so AImee decided she would ask a friend from her class. Unfortunetly this didnt work out and last minute drummer Jon(also knwon as george) was found and asked to play with the band just for the night... The band played and played until they were satisfied with there sound and then rocked out on there first gig.They enjoyed it so much they decided not to let the band slip and carry it on- ENTER WildFire. |
