This photograph was taken from on board the R/V Alpha Helix (operated by the University of Alaska, Fairbanks) during a research cruise. This Fjord is on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. For the record, I was unhappy how the photo scanned in, so I took a digital photo (using an Olympus C-3030 Zoom camera on HQ setting) of my photograph, which is what you are seeing now.
