Horse: the halt is almost square. To be perfectly square, his feet should be on the corners of a rectangle. His hindlegs are good, underneath his body, not strung out behind. The position of his head and neck is nice, and both his ears indicate attention to his rider. The swished tail indicates the transition could have been made a bit more harmoniously. Rider: Good alignment of upper body, though she has hunched her back just a bit. She should straighten up. Also, her elbow is a bit high (not quite a straight line between her elbow, wrist and bit). Her lower leg is braced forward! She needs to keep it underneath her as she applies her leg into the halt.
