Trinity 38, Steel High 6 Trinity remains perfect ~By James Phillips of the Patriot News~ It took a while for the undefeated Shamrocks to figure out how to get around the overall team speed of Steel-High last night. SPORTS HOLY SMOKES is the murmur you hear this football season when you watch the shamrocks of Trinity High school, Camp Hill. This team, 5-0 at seasons midpoint, comes at you with speed. Add in a dose of quickness, and the ingredients are there for a solid football team. Against cross - town rival Camp Hill hardly the average cupcake the Shamrocks dominated the Lions, winning 35 14 before a boisterous crowd at Seibert Park in Camp Hill. The Rocks best all around player is arguably Jonathon Smith, a transfer from Cedar Cliff, who torched the lions defense for more than 100 total yards. The gutty Smith, above, makes a nifty reach to break the plane to score Trinitys second touchdown. Trinity is led by a senior quarterback Chris Chris Crane, left, who has the arm strength to get the ball downfield and enough speed to keep defense honest. Not to be forgotten is Trinitys stingy defense, below. They are fundamentally sound gang tacklers why are backed by a quick secondary. Trinity just might run into those smash mouth Squires of Delone Catholic come play off time in November. Stay tuned. Same Bat channel.
