I know for a fact that I would not be at the point in my spiritual and personal life, were it not for the two of you.

As the song says, "He's still working on me" and He has used the two of you to revive my spiritual growth that had previously gotten stunted.

I truly enjoy being around you both and watching your actions, reactions, and responses to life as a whole. Both of you are genuine, honest, and authentic in your walk with the Lord. It is a very personal relationship between the two of you and God and the two of you as husband and wife.

A pastor and his family can be hurt so deeply and sometimes it seems folks just don't think anything about striking out at them. Not only do they have to bear the burdens of every church member, they also have to bear the pain of their own burdens and the hurt that others so thoughtlessly bring upon them.

Usually I can see how God worked in my life, after the fact. But I praise His name for allowing me to see how He is working through the two of you in my life. I have been challenged by not only Bro. Bill's preaching and teaching but by the lives you live day by day.

It is such a blessing having the two of you in my life and I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.

Thank you for loving me and caring enough to listen and teach me things no one else seemed to think was important.

Thank you, Bro. Bill, for being so patient as you teach me how to play the piano. I was scared to death when I first started, mostly of being a failure, I think. But you always try to put me at ease and show me ways to help in the areas I need it most. Thanks for believing in me.
