The Ramsey Family
Bro. Tony, Connie, & Benjamin

It still amazes me how God knows when to put people together for the different stages of our spiritual and personal lives.
I met Bro. Jim Hillian in art class and he invited us to St. Clair church. The Lord led us to leave the church where we had attended for 15 years or longer. Even though we were doing what God wanted, it was a hard thing to do.
God was already on the scene and lining things up the way He wanted them to go.
We visited St. Clair and it was like coming home.
If I remember correctly my first glimpse of your family was at one of our bimonthly singings. I was told that Bro. Tony had been filling in for Bro. Jim when he was too sick to preach. But I hadn't had the pleasure of really meeting you yet.
Then in May of 2000, Bro. Jim went home to be with the Lord and Bro. Tony became our pastor.
From the first day we met, it was just like something clicked. When this happens, it has to be from the Lord because He knows who we need in our lives.
I felt like I had known you all my life but it wasn't until months later I realized that the Lord actually started working this out when I was just a child. He sent Bro. Tony's dad to pastor a little church in Dunlap where I attended with my aunt & uncle. And then brought us together as adults.
I don't know if I can put in words how much you have all meant to me the past 3 years. Your family had to minister to us more in the year you were at St. Clair than anyone did the entire 15 years we were at the other church. You were with us at hospitals, emergency rooms, and funeral homes. You were there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. You were there to sing for hours with Randy's mom when nothing else would soothe her. You were there when I went on my Emmaus walk.
God's love shines through all of you and ministers to hearts, souls and spirits. The Lord even used Benjamin when he was 4 or 5 to minister to Randy's dad. And he used him many times when I needed a hug.
Bro. Tony, thank you for preaching the Word and loving the flock the Lord gave you charge over. Thank you for all the time you took for our family.
Connie, thank you for loving me just as I am and for all the times you have helped me see things from another perspective. God has blessed you with the gift of helping others and I can see Him working through you.
Benjamin, thank you for all the hugs and love that you so easily give to others. I'll never forget you being in my Sunday School class and you telling me, "My prayer was better than yours." And it was better because it came from your heart of childlike faith.
The Lord has blessed me far above anything I could ever ask or think and your family is part of those blessings.
I love you all.
Your friend and sister in Christ,
Diane (Mosh)
