Three Sisters

Three sisters were born not knowing
What life ahead would bring
Many times in their lives it seemed
They would never have reason to sing.

But God in His infinite wisdom
Still in total control
Placed them in a home
His angels already patrolled.

God knew in this home they would hear
His gospel so free and so clear
And these three sisters would learn
They had no reason to fear.

The sisters are all grown up now
Not together very often these days
Each on her own spiritual journey
Trying to walk in His ways.

One day they'll be reunited
To spend eternity
With the One who so willingly gave
His life on the old rugged tree.

He loves all three unconditionally
Has forgiven all of their sins
Awaits their arrival in Heaven
To spend the ages with Him.

They'll bow before Him in glory
And praise Him for 10,000 years
And when those days are over
They'll start all over again

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him."

2 Timothy 2:3 & 12a

Dear Maggie,

I really believe that you have endured enough hardness for 3 lifetimes, and yet you have such a loving and sweet spirit.

I have seen the Lord working in your life and Jan's and seen the two of you being transformed before my very eyes. I already loved you both but the love of God adds that very special bond between the three of us. We are sisters twice over. Once by physical birth and the second time through the blood of Christ.

I have heard it said, "Pain and suffering are inevitable but misery is optional." Though you may not even realize it, you have tried your best to not make others miserable when you have been suffering unbearably.

I thank God upon every remembrance of you and Jan and feel very blessed that He chose to put me in your lives.

Thanks for your love, friendship and prayers.

Love,
Mosh

"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."
1 John 4:4 & 7

Dear Jan,

When I think of you, these verses come to mind. To me, you have overcome so much in your life that could have completely driven you away from God.

Yet, you love the Lord and others with the kind of love that is willing to be used in whatever way is needed.

I can see God working in your life and strengthening you as you face each obstacle that satan throws your way.

You have always loved me and accepted me just as I am and I sure haven't made that an easy thing to do at times.

You are always there for me no matter where you are or what you are doing. You always said, "You're my sister and of course I'll be there for you and do whatever I can."

I'm so glad I have had you and Maggie in my life and that we have always been, not only sisters, but friends. I see families where the sisters or brothers are not speaking or they are mad all the time and I thank God that we don't live that way. Not that we haven't ever gotten mad, but we couldn't stand to have unresolved conflict between us.

Thank you for your love, caring, prayers, and friendship. I'm so glad God made us sisters.

Love,
Mosh
(Your "baby" sister)
