1) Ride along at a comfortable pace.
2) Move your front so that the ball of your foot is just behind the centre-most bolts.
3) Then move your back foot so that the ball is in the centre of the kick near the edge.
4) Now for the hard part, kick down on the tail and when you hear the pop when the kick actually hits the ground slide your front foot up the deck to even it out beneath you.
5) When you are in the air for that short period of time you have to prepare your-self for the shock of landing again;
Bend your knees a little and when you land the shock will force them to bend a little more.
6) Ride it out
