Callendar square was a very popular skatespot.. as soon as the skatepark opened they tried to get a law against us skating there, threatening to fine us obscure amounts of money...
The square is still skateable and is just up the hill from the park, many ledges make it great for grinds, the fact that all ledges are actually stairs makes it good for stairset gaps as well, the largest set being a 4 and smallest is a single step...
As soon as your asked to move on from this spot, do yourself a favour and just go down to the park, argueing with them only takes time and effort... you can always come back in an hour or something. |
