The
end of an era for Moseley
Vincents
Fishmongers closes after 50 years business
Whilst the sun shone
on another successful Farmers Market in Moseley today, only yards away
saw the end of a long established Moseley business. Vincents Fishmongers
is one of the last independant fishmongers left in Birmingham and closed
today to make way for a new development, possibly Sainsburys.
Loyal customers
were clearly upset with the news, since it was thought Vincents was
merely to be relocated for the new development. However, Peter Vincent
the owner was offered a financial sum for the remaining lease on his
shop. Assistant manager, Chantel, who was hoping to take over
the business is now looking at vacant shop units in Moseley, with the
hope of starting her own fishmongers. We wish her the best of luck!
