I've just finished adding some more new books, I think I am finally up-to-date now!

14 August 2001: 

I'm now back in Moscow, ready to swap again!

I've got about 50 new books, mainly crime and general fiction.  I've added some of them and will finish adding the rest later this week. 

I've now got too many videos and books for my shelves, so if anyone is interested in buying instead of swapping I will now consider doing that.  I will still carry on swapping though as I know lots of people find it useful!

25 July 2001: 

You can now see a list of all new films added each time I update the web-site.  This list is located at the bottom of this page, in the right-hand column and will be updated each time I get new films to swap.   

I've decided to sell my collection of films in Russian.  Please click here for details, including a full list of films available. 

I will be out of Moscow from 30 July until 13 August, so please be patient if you don't hear from me during that time!

On another note, I went to the America Cinema yesterday to see Bridget Jones's Diary - I highly recommend it and am looking forward to watching it again on video as soon as it's available!  Apart from America Cinema and Dome, are there any other cinemas in Moscow that show films in their original language?  Please let me know, much appreciated!:)

I've tried to fix all the bad hyperlinks - please let me know if you find any that aren't working now.  Clicking on an item should open up a new window, with relevant Internet Movie Database information for each video and with a synopsis and further information for each book (picture taken from Amazon).  

I still haven't got round to making a new title banner for this page, it will happen one day - really!

Please keep your suggestions and ideas coming.  Someone recently suggested that I add new films separately, so you can see at a glace what's new.  Great idea!  I will start doing this by listing new items here in the news section (as well as in the relevant section under videos).  There's a few swaps in the pipeline, so I will be adding new films later this week.

• Just a small update after some swaps that have taken place over the last few days.  

• I am still working on a new title banner for the site, hopefully I will be able to come up with something soon!

• Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments about the new design, I'm glad you like it!  I hope you all find the extra information for each book and film useful too.

• I've added approximately 100 new videos, mainly from 2000.  I'm sure that there is now something here for everyone's taste!  

• I'm still working on placing the site on a more reliable server and hope to be doing that sometime this week.

• I've not had many comments about the new design, please feel free to email me with your comments.  It's not finished yet because I am still working on making a new title banner for the top of this page.

25 May 2001:

• Videos and Books are now all split into separate categories, making it easier for you to find the items that most interest you!

• Each item (Videos and Books) now contains a full description.  This will open on a separate page in your browser and includes details such as plot synopsis, number of pages (for books) and photographs of many items.

• I've also changed the layout of the site.  I hope that this will make navigation easier and clearer.  The colours have also been changed as I felt it was time for a new image!:)
