California Dreaming, The Tribune August 2, 2002
Featured on the cover of the Tribune's August 2, 2002 cover of California Dreaming is this mosaic created for Don and Priscilla Beadle.,  Following is an excerpt from the article.

"The Beadles commissioned Peter Ladochy, kinown for his mosaic tribute to San Luis Obispo's Chinatown at the Palm Street parking structure.  "Together, we understood that there's a universal philosophy and cosmic conciousness that reveals itself in imagery and color."  References to the Beadles' sojourn in the Far East show up in the yin and yang symbols as well as the sun, fire and dragon elements of the mosaic.  Composed of fused glass from Mexico and tile from Italy and Japan, the images are tied together with various spirals - on of Priscilla Beadle's favorite images - symbolizing the simultaneous expanding and contracting forces in life."
